'Genius': a cartoon series which ran from 1978 to 1983. It Won John the Glen Grant Strip Cartoon Award in 1981.

In 228 episodes, it told the surreal, humorous adventures and inventions of it's main characters: Anode Enzyme, a Genius with an IQ of 12790 [right] and Lord Doberman, the richest man in the world [left].

In 1984: BBC Scotland made a documentary about 'Genius', in which John appears and actors play the main characters.
